Fábio Santos

I’m Fábio Santos, an MSc-graduated computer-science engineer, where I focused on distributed systems and artificial intelligence—work that culminated in a master’s thesis later cited in PhD research. As proGrow’s founding team member, I helped build our industrial-data SaaS from the first commit to a secure, high-performance micro-services platform. I moved from full-stack developer to Engineering Manager, helping hiring and coaching teams, and more recently, DevOps lead. Today I guide cross-functional teams, own our AWS-based CI/CD pipeline and FinOps practices, and keep security, performance, and cloud costs in balance. My mindset is all about clear targets, disciplined time and resource management, and continuous optimisation for results. Beyond product delivery, I lecture at ISEP and love to inspire colleagues through knowledge-sharing and empowerment, fostering a culture where everyone can grow.
